My ABS and skid light come off and on. Checked and cleaned sensors, topped of master cylinder, to no resolve. Any ideas? Where is this speed sensor locates? Also could tires being down to less than 50% tread do this? I have also recalibrated VSC. Any help appreciated.

Did you recently install a lift? That can throw the yaw sensors out of calibration.

have you ran a code reader to see if there are any codes stored.

Also.... i know this sounds silly. But check your gas cap and make sure its tight.

Truck has been lifted for over 4 years. Scan tools not picking anything up. Gas cap is good. I did refuel the other day with the truck running. Could that be it?

Damn, my only other suggestion would be to check your wires for continuity. When I did my lift, I stretched the harness on the drover side because I'm a idiot and I had to open the harness and solder in a few more inches to repair it. Maybe you stretched it just enough to cause an intermittent connection? :notsure:

When I took my truck in for the alignment post lift, they were able to run the code and tell me the exact sensor which wasn't connected.

My ABS, traction control, and parking brake lights are all on. Something is up with an ABS sensor, but it's been too cold and snowy to mess with it. Intermittently, the lights go off and I have the ABS and traction control features temporarily.

Don't let the safety police on here know that your ABS/VSC isn't working and you're operating the vehicle, lol. You can check the connections and if they all look good, grab a multimeter and ohm the cables out. There are disconnects for all the cable sections that are exposed under the vehicle which are most likely to get damaged. I'm not sure about automatics, but on manuals if the parking brake light is lit then it's probably more than just a wire going to the wheel sensors. I'd start with the fuses if the parking brake warning is illuminated. Also I remember seeing on here that people get codes for which wheel sensor needs checked. I'd disconnect mine and check, but haven't had any of that stuff on there in ages. Good luck, hopefully it doesn't end up costing much.

Happened to me once. I looked in my passenger wheel well and found that I broke a pair of wires. 2 butt connectors, some shrink wrap and VSC reset cleared the lights.A2E4F94C-9D58-47B0-AF9F-BECD209D7BEE.jpg CEE9BDA3-B13D-4340-B43F-97827985700A.jpg

Quick question do you have a scan gauge. I have done the reset through the odm port for the lights . The lights will not come on until I plug my scan gauge back in I don’t know if this is causing the problem or not.
