Best of luck and don't piss off Rocket Man!

Since when did Ft Lewis get Apaches? I thought they had that "cuttin edge" Light Armor unit up there, at least back in 1990's when I was full time.

For other's reference later, just got my driveshaft back after a tune up, lengthen and retube with 2.5” x .120 wall, and new u joints, from Rocky Mountain Driveline in Arvada. They used Neapco joints, as they informed me that Spicer are not what they once were. Here’s the breakdown in case anyone was curious, $400 OTD, the tacos may come out cheaper as the 4R OEM shafts were pressed together and required the machining which added $100 to the bill. They also had it done in 24 hrs, I then let it sit with them for 3 weeks lol.

Thanks for sharing. I might have mine lengthen too. Don’t know yet until I cycle.

If you just need some length, a spacer would be a cheaper solution, clearly a spacer can't make it shorter though. The main objective on mine was getting rid of a shimmy, it was dented all to hell and still had the original joints so figured I would go all out, a little length was just a bonus.

I would have went with Toyota joints (those are not made by spicer) in the 4Runner. I'll have to look but I think those were Aisin. Nice not having the grease zerk on the outside of the joint like that to get knocked off, you might replace that with a bolt until grease is needed.

I’ll keep that in mind. I know JD didn’t lengthen his and he’s pulling 21+ in the rear. He just dropped the carrier bearing an inch or so. But it’s good to know they can lengthen my original instead of buy a whole new custom one.

That's what they recommended so I went with it, 200k on the originals is going to be hard to beat though.

Blessing and a curse, the one at the dif is the only one I am worried about hitting, the slip and forward one are out of harms way. These are going to be a lot easier and cleaner to service.

    BS!
    I've seen you wheel.
The whole damn driveshaft as well as the rest of the vehicle it's attached to is in harm's way.

As of right now my Fedex tracking number for the awning is no longer valid. So far no additional emails from the seller explaining anything about what is going on. The saga continues.

Nope, never responded to anyone. Like you, I would never respond to their whack ass email. If anything I would contact Walmart or my credit card company directly. I was just going to let it ride until the 15th though which was the expected delivery date.
