Does anyone know of a place in the Salt Lake area that sells or fabricates rock sliders? There seems to be a dearth of places that sell actual sliders for the Tacoma.

Isn't that like 45 miles from downtown? SLC has gotten so big its going to be inside the city soon enough if you wait! :)

Heber is a good hour from SLC. I live in the south end of the valley, so probably at least an hour and 20-30ish. I'd really like to find a place either in the valley or perhaps Provo-Orem.

Thanks. For me, Idaho Falls is three hours and change. I can't believe that there is not a place in the Salt Lake valley, but that apparently may be the case.

Of course, if their sliders are quality, shipping from IF may not be too painful.

Check out Expedition One in Ogden.

Otherwise you'd be better off just buying a set of sliders online from one of the major players. By the time you ask a fab shop in SLC to make you some slider the cost will be much much more than a set that is already in production.

    ^^This^^

I'm looking as well and most likely ordering from Mobtown. Theres a few Facebook Toyota Utah pages, but the prices I've seen are not any better local, plus someone like Mobtown bolt on's are proven to be bombproof.

You found actual sliders online for cheaper then $650...where? The posts I saw from the group you linked, were +$800 for weld on's...might have to go revist if they are $650.

Oh, yes but call DOSECC. I emailed them a few months ago about bolts ons..said 650$

    From my email with them
"We got your request for sliders for a 2017 tacoma, We have a few options, I have attached a picture of our sliders for your truck. We are at 917( bare steel, bolt on) for the pro-grade diamond shaped ones, ( willie pete sliders, *pictured) or we have round tube DOM designs ( overland spectre sliders), price for the spectre overlands is 650 including black powder coat."

Emailed him back asking if the $650 ones were bolt on and he said yes.

This was back in December..so may have changed? Give them a call or email and find out if you're interested.

Took a ride to check out DOSECC's sliders and ended up ordering a set. Really nice product and great price compared to whats out there for high end bolt on's. Anyone on the west coast looking, give Jordan @ DOSECC a call. I'll have mine next week and will follow up with review.
