need new shoes......help?

I currently have 35 pro comp m/t tires on my Tacoma. I need to purchase some new tires within a couple of weeks. I had these on for 50k miles. I have a 6' lift and wanted to see what size tires should I get that will save me gas, money and still looks good. I like the way the 35' looks but they are too expensive plus this is my daily commuter.

also i have 17inch wheels.

get a 34". they make a 295/75/16 but idk if they do a 295/70/17 ???

oh and btw if you want better mileage stay away from the m/t and go with a good looking a/t tire

I've seen a good number of 6" lifts with 33"s and they dont look to shabby.

what size? 33 or 34...what's the cheapest brand I can get..money is kinda tight at the moment.

ya why can't someone just invent a tire that last forever!

 

If you really want to save gas, you need to ditch that lift. The larger tires are also hurting you but that lift kills it for sure.

If you're sticking with the lift, you need a less aggressive tire like the Firestone Destination A/T's like I have ($504 installed at Firestone). I have over 30K on them with a ton of tread life left, had no difference in MPG in going from the OEM 245/75/16 to 265/75/16. Another good option are the Bridgestone Revo's, but there are others that are equally as good.

 

I used to be a BFG AT guy, untill now!

Duratrac's are much better.

 

You might even want to check out Ebay for some tires. Thats where I got my 33"s and I got a great deal with free shipping.

 

And how heavy are they? Rotational mass effects MPG.
