Contact the owner on it, then start asking around maybe someone has a trailer to assist to get it back here for a small fee. If the owner is willing to work with you I would post up a thread about the truck, this is a tight community, never know.

Hopefully he can part it, looks like he's looking for $900 to get it out of the impound yard. If that comes to fruition I could ask the Houston thread for help.

 

So we normally do cars n coffee on the north side of town on the second Saturday of each month, last month ATX came down and I was able to also get a local group (SA Tacomas) to come out as well. In all we had about 39 Tacoma’s if I remember correctly at the meet. Well ATX’s cars n coffee is the same weekend but on Sunday’s, but this month it is cancelled due to location issues. So we have combined SA’s with ATX and we are all meeting at Cabelas on Sunday starting at 9am. We will most likely meet up there early to get a good parking spot, and I was going to suggest to the group that we convoy up there so it should be fun, plus we all can check out Cabela’s afterwards.

 

I dunno, I believe it a rebuild thread is in order....

Did anyone know this guy from south Texas tacomas? LJ Logan. Apparently he passed from a heart attack after they had a trail meet. Pretty sweet truck.

 

Yeah, i met him at the last cnc.. super nice guy and from everything i hear, he’d give you the shirt off his back. Really really sad that he passed

 

I believe he was at the last Cars n coffee, just met him then, @Phoosa can you confirm?

 

He was pretty much the Texoma of San Antonio. Always willingto help guys out and wrench on their trucks
