I have always heard a lot about Folly and the fishing there. Is there decent inshore stuff there too?

I’ve never fished there before...it’s about a 2hr one way drive for me. I’d be willing to bet the inshore fishing is great though. I just wonder about how crowded it can be with all that population.

It all depends like in NC I find that most of the touristy fishermen even ones with beach houses just head offshore or the basic inshore stuff they rarely venture into the really backwoods secluded places even on yaks, polling skiffs etc. I have fished from the Va border all the way to the SC border and that's been my experience with it. Even most of the locals in the heavier populated areas like Wilmington aren't that big into fishing.

No dates planned...whenever you know, let me know a good weekend for you. Maybe we can do something with all the Chas folks (@OCD 08 @jpneely @Bubbles @ahspurlock @Apexgigi etc.) that like to fish?
