They had a whole NY Strip loin for $88. Almost got one of them.

Briskets were hovering around $26. It’s about time for another one.

I just paid $44 for a 14 lb select grade.. I'd buy 10 if I could find them for $26.

IMO Costco has by far the best meat selection, at least in my area. I used to go to Restaurant Depot, I have a membership, but they couldn't match the quality of what you get at Costco, especially for the price.

I’d like to try some tri tip. Never had it and I keep seeing Californians cook it all the time.

It looks really good. What’s the deal with slicing it? Let’s talk tri tip.

I use Oak or Pecan, smoke at 225-250 to IT of 110, then sear over coals on each side until IT of 125. Let rest for 15 minutes, slice properly. Rub is just SPOG and paprika. Go heavy on the rub. ‘Tis wunderbar on crostini with a bit of fresh pico de gallo.

Sam's around me has decent meets, mostly choice, but that is suitable for us. I have access to a RD card, went one time, and found them to be expensive, unless you are buying cases at a time. Quality was so so as well.

I may have to talk the wife into checking out the Costco.

I use Costco because I leech onto my parents membership lol. A few weeks ago I bought meat in “bulk” for the first time from there, solely for the purpose of freezing and eating later. Not just for a big bbq or get together. I got these 2+” thick prime strips and sliced them in half. They by far have been some of the best steaks I’ve ever cooked, and I love me some ribeyes. And the wife thinks they’re amazing too, win win
