What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Fuck im getting old. And i feel older than i am which doesnt help.

 

Having the AC Compresosr on my E320 being done by the same shop who did my flexplate.

I asked them to grab my broken ones from their scrap pile.

The rusty one is the original 92k one that originally broken (rust is from being in a scrap heap) and the shiny one made it a whole 2 miles before breaking outside of the shop.

That was a mistake in my opinion, you're not gonna want to chop it into a trailer once you start driving it
Those 5lug manuals with the v6 are so damn fun to drive lol

 

We'll see. I might just daily drive this to keep my 92k truck pristine.

 

These tires balanced out awesome, none of them had over 3oz on them

 

Cheaper to operate a manual 2WD too, tiny tires are cheap to replace, tranny just likes new fluid every 80-100k, front end components like balljoints and bushings are cheaper, thing should get better MPG too

 

Well that's no fun lol, drive em both. Street truck, and off-road truck.

I want to get a Tacoma bed and make a trailer out of it and have it match my truck. I think that'd be pretty sweet, I've seen a couple like that. Looks really clean.

Did the uca battle today and won!! Do you guys think it’s nessary to do an alinement after putting in new ucas?

 

That was the whole reason I found that truck - I was calling around to find a cheap bed to make a trailer out of.

 

That guy is off his meds... wow.

 

I feel like you could just buy some replacment bedsides and weld a frame to put them around for around the same price sane people are asking for a used bed.

I've never seen a 1st gen bedside for sale - only 2nd gens. Don't the 1st gen beds come as one assembly?
