First posting on TacomaWorld. Here are a couple pics of my 2018 Magnetic Gray Off Road, taken on a near perfect Super Bowl Sunday in northern California. Fully loaded with Premium and Tech packages, tonneau cover, cast aluminum running boards, bed step and bed mat. No other mods added (yet), but still breaking it in. I know I would like some additional bed lighting, especially with the tonneau cover which makes the factory bed light pretty much useless. Always looking for suggestions! I am also starting to really love the TSS features added in 2018 - and wish I could add them to my other vehicles.

This is down in the bottoms behind my house on some land I own. Was out taking down a deer stand and snapped a quick photo. Thought the scenery was fitting...

Can you tell me where you got your Clazzios covers and exactly what to order to get the same setup you have? There's so many damn options when you get on those sites.... Thanks! And yours look great, btw!

My first Taco! Just got it a week and a half ago. More basic than many up here, magnetic gray SR5 V6 AT. Only mods so far are a bed mat and a Longhorn on the back. Ready to take it somewhere scenic.Taco2.jpg Taco4.jpg

Maybe some dumb questions here, fellas... I have a 2017 TRD OffRoad I've had for a little over a week. I know it comes with the Bilstien 4600s, correct? Long story short, I got in a hurry the other day and ordered a Rough Country 2in spacer for the front and a 1.5" block for the rear. It is supposed to be here tomorrow. After reading about all these lifts that y'all have put on your trucks, I'm thinking of scrappin that idea and probably send those items back and go with the 5100s in the front, for sure, and maybe in the rear also. From what I'm reading on this forum and the sales sites, I can't see where the rear 5100s have any more travel(or stroke) than the stock 4600s. SO, what do you gain with switching the rear to the 5100s? AND if the stock rear suspension is fine for my typical loading/payload, is a block to lift the rear ok? Or is a better setup the AAL??? And finally, it I set the 5100s on the front to the 5th notch and gain the 2-2.5" of lift it says they provide, will the stock coils make the ride harsh? Seems a lot of you have went with OME 887 coils. Any and all info appreciated! BTW, If you have a pic showing this setup, please post it. Gonna keep the stock Goodyears for now.

It is my understanding that Bilstein does not recommend you using the top slot. Headstrong is also making this same statement.

    I just copied this from their(Headstong's) site. "5th notch = 2" (5th notch not recommended for 4x4 V6/4cyl Access Cab or 4x2 V6 Double Cab 6' bed)"

I read this that my truck would be ok in the 5th notch. Isn't that how you interpret it?

I have this lift installed on my 2017 TRD Sport. The ride is similar to stock and I have Toyo R/T 285/70/17 Tires. For the money you can’t go wrong.
