Custom LED Map and Dome lights

So taping of the wire is sufficient? No need to shrink tube it?

 

tape, heat shrink, bubblegum, whatever suits your fancy.

 

@mesojdm I went full retard installing mine and blew the dome fuse. Now I have the light installed but can't try it out yet until Wednesday

 

Were you not careful inserting the bulb adapter?
I think there are spare fuses in the engine bay fuse box. Or, swap out a fuse from another circuit(like CIG or somthing) just to test.

 

Definitely interested in some v1 reds if you’re still producing!

Yes. I am working on V1's(all colors), V2 combos(red just arrived), and V2 domes.
If you guys really want to rock a ME-SO sticker I'm all game.

 

I got fingers like Sloth's face form the Goonies and fat fingered the install for sure. Good idea about the engine bay. I'll go take a look right now.

 

@mesojdm No dice on the engine bay. Not sure if I specifically need a 7.5 fuse and not sure which one would be a spare (without reading the manual of course) .

 

Swap it out with the cargo lamp fuse(same 7.5A) temporarily to check dome function.(its right next to the dome fuse, down 1)

 

hmmm... A combo red/white that you could choose which one would be awesome for ops.

 

That's what I'm running now;
-RED maps that auto turn on with door
-WHITE Dome switched on manually when extra light is needed.
Next up is IR for when I'm rockin' NODS

 

I don't like red lights. At all. Particularly the ones in my rear view mirror.

3000k LED is ideal for me. I have them now and they look great! I'd rather have @mesojdm ones though.

Just use the fuse from the ABS circuit. kidding
