Looking for some advice. I know a lot of you go camping and have campers. Im looking at buying a pop up camper this year. I’m tired of tenting. I’m not looking to spend a shit load of money but want something in good shape.
What are some things to look out for good and bad? What are some items that you must have when looking. Also is there like a kbb for campers ?

I should consider a new pair of shoes at some point; my summer shoes will be 5 or 6 this spring, I think. But, I just had them resoled last spring so the rubber is still like new. The leather is starting to show its age a bit, but I hate breaking in a new set.

I think NADA has used camper values. You can find decent pop ups for under $2k but sometimes it takes a little bit of shopping around. The things I check for in any camper is look for signs of water leaks. If you notice any soft spots on the floor or walls, water stains on the ceiling, just walk away. Pay special attention to the ones that have a 2-part top with a center seam. If they've been properly stored and maintained, they're generally very simple units with not a lot that goes wrong. My last pop-up, the one Rob now owns, was great. It had a side slider, dual propane tanks, running hot water, a propane fridge and heat. As I said to Denis the other day, check for signs of water stains/leaks, run your hand around the cap and feel for any wet or rotten plywood. Check to see that the canvas is in good shape, no tears. Otherwise, if you do a quick walk around, you can generally tell how it's been maintained.

All this shoe talk has me thinking. I need to order a new pair of running shoes, have just about 200 miles on my current pair. My knee starts having pains around 225/250 miles. My current running shoes will then be washed and scrubbed of smell and become my weekend shoes. My current weekend shoes will become my yardwork shoes. I just continue to rotate my running shoes in that order and then toss them after they are my yardwork shoes.

Check all sections of the floor for any soft areas. The corners are great places to step and see how much squish you are getting. As Pugga said, if you find any signs of water damage, walk away - you can repair them and think everything is OK, but you will lose your mind trying to track down any and all points of entry.

Also look for any signs of rodents. Mice can get inside and make quite a mess - look at the fuse box to see if there is any signs of water damage or burnt fuses.

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
I’m not sure if this is a serious question or a typical TW smart question. So I’ll answer anyways. I am not a black smith I was referring to gunsmithing, and I’m not that either. I do have some experience with firearms and am able to do a few things. However I have a close friend who is very competent with firearms and can address most issues or part replacements

Morning y'all! Busy week from me, so I probably won't be on here much.

Been thinking about what to do with the truck next. Bouncing around between sliders+skids, lights, wilco tire gate, and a CB. Probably will go in roughly that order though. Who knows.

    Everyone stay healthy!

Is that my old one? Are you going with a travel trailer or a newer pop up?

If so, John and Denis, in my opinion, that one has a great layout. It has a side slide out so you have a lot of floor space. It's on the heavy side for a pop up so it tows well also. It's an older model but was in good shape.

    I think so

Yes. Your old one. It does tow very well. I think some of it has to do with the torsion axle too

Yup we went to the Boston show and were going to the Springfield show in a couple of weeks. Depending on what kind of deal we can get we may be purchasing a bunkhouse TT
