Nice! I've got two double bunks, sort of wished we had a couch instead

 

What kind and layout do you have?

 

What's catching your eye? I absolutely love the Grand Design Imagine 2400BH. I really want to jump to something that size but not sure I want to deal with storing a camper that size in my yard (plus my current one is fairly new and will work for a few more years, just a little cramped).

I'm just drooling over it for now. I sort of want to save up and get a 5th wheel for my next one just for the way they tow. I don't want a monster but there are some really cool bunkhouse 5th wheel layouts available.

 

I lasted 2 hours at work today. Home again just sitting in a fog. I knew spending my day on ladders today working would be a recipe for bad things happening.

Whatever this stomach bug thing I've got going on has knocked me on my face.

Yup, those 2 are exactly the type I have been looking at. I think right now the Outback 255UBH is leading it for me. I like how the storage under the bunk beds is and you can also access it from outside too. We will see

Yes, slightly higher. The regular Coachmen like yours (257BHS) weighs right about the same as the Outback but has a lot higher hitch weight

You should check out I think it's Paul the Air Force guy's reviews on line for travel trailers. I watched a few of his reviews for higher end Winnebago trailers and he points out a lot of features that tend to get overlooked in less expensive models. They're not necessarily cost items either, like having the door for the exterior BBQ, when open, blocks the bunk's window. Lots of little ergonomic tips that I normally would not have thought of, but things you can still find in less expensive layouts. I found them helpful.

Are you towing it with the Tacoma? Heavy trailer but surprisingly low hitch weight.
