2019 Tacoma TRD Pro gets a snorkel?

Will probably carry a $800 price tag if anyone tries to buy it separate.

 

So, if ya get "deep" enough where the snorkel is actually functioning makes me wonder what additional steps were take to protect the front grille TSS connections.

 

They are waterproof already.

 

Why would it have a “hood scoop” AND a snorkel? Doesn’t that seem a little silly for an actual Toyota promo image?

 

I didn't even think of that.

 

Honestly, it looks better than that redneck arm pump which ARB made for the 3rd Gen.

 

Where is the rear diff breather vent on the Pros?

 

People are forgetting a snorkels purpose is to suck in air less encumbered by dust. Water fording is just a protective effect. A snorkel alone isn’t going to magically keep your vehicle safe from water.

 

Snorkels have been an OEM option for years on Toyota trucks and SUVs in Australia.

 

Doesn't make it look any less silly or make any less sense on a factory vehicle, though.

Find a job at Toyota and you can nix the snorkel and add the disk brakes you want

 

I shouldn't have to get a job at Toyota to get 4 wheel disc brakes over a fucking snorkel...

Great... right when I cobble my own snorkel together they come out with one.

 

But how many LEDs will the TRD snorkel have?
