Suspension or Lighting thread? Not sure here...
Bottom line up front: Trucks come from the factory with a natural rake. I quickly lifted mine and made sure it was level. I then complained about my lights. I'm a dummy and just needed to adjust my lights. AND this is never mentioned (or I skimmed over it) in lifting FAQs and best practices. The long story of how I noticed is below.
    --------------------
So I lifted my truck 2" about a year ago while living in Virginia. I moved back to the Northeast in December and immediately felt like my headlights were inferior. I attributed it to less street lights, poor road conditions, and/or lack of attention to repainting the lines on the highway. So I upgraded the bulbs - still no joy.

AND then the other night, my daughter followed my wife and I home - she drove my truck behind us in the sedan and I noticed that my frickin' headlights were not pointing down in front of the truck, but rather in our rear window and nearly over the top of the car. I am not sure why I (1) didn't notice this before and (2) why I didn't even think about this during my lift/leveling process.

But it's fixed now and the stock projectors with upgraded bulbs are more than sufficient and the high beams don't paint the tops of trees.

Hopefully, documenting my ignorance will save you some cash for mods.

Headlamp adjuster screws on the back side of the housing. Used my garage door to align them below the horizon.

So many people don't adjust their headlights after they lift their trucks. I see tons of lifted trucks driving around here with their headlights aimed wayyy to high, so they blind people and don't even function well anymore.
