Agreed so far this season is way better then last. Thank god they got rid of the American and celebrity brain crush. And setting a national speed record is pretty impressive.

 

haha and bitching and moaning about hammond and may the whole time was great.

I was actually impressed that he got the record, and blew it out of the water per say (no pun intended )

 

The worst one this season was the one in Croatia that was unscripted. And second just glad Hammond didn’t die in the first episode

yeah those definitely weren't there for the infamous video that went round a long time ago. Not opposed to the silicone fairy, but they were too much for her being so small.

 

I did get kind of mad at them during the final challenge with the SUV's for wrecking those boats. As somebody who owns a small vintage runabout it galled me to Clarkson destroy one that looked a bit nicer than mine

 

In his defense, i dont think he was trying to destroy it. Was pretty funny when it went

 

Went down that hill almost like it was water.

 

That looked like it was sledding lol. But James Mays boat sinking was hilarious I couldn’t imagine being in water that cold.

 

I feel like they are finally hitting their stride with The Grand Tour, the first season had some good moments but overall I was a bit disappointed. This season has been better and especially like this weeks SUV episode "Oh, Canada" and the Jag episode. "Jaaaaaags."

Also, my sister who is a newer fan of the show mentioned to me how terrible all three look. I had noticed the aging but my god... we watched a few of the older Top Gear episodes. They all three look just terrible.

 

Well they're old now. They even mentioned it at the beginning of the series that they were parking the tent because the presenters were aging. Hammond's the youngest and he's nearly 50. Clarkson is 57 and hasn't taken care of himself at all, and May is 55. None of them are ancient, but they're getting to a point where the stuff they do takes longer to recover from.

To put it in scale, Clarkson started out on the original Top Gear back in 1988.
