Do you want a 14 year old truck with possible headgasket problems($3500 too fix)and motor mount problems ($800 plus ),or a 9 year old truck with none of those problems?

    Cody,
    Ask yourself:
Do you want to go off road or do you camp? The 11" will be awesome for that. It was made for it. If not it is there if you need it.

Cody make an offer on the 2011 and be done with it,I had an 2006 offroad in Silver Streak and sold it and got a 2015 in Silver Sky,I did not want too chance a $3500 repair bill later on.

since you are an outdoors person you will be bummed if you don't get a 4x4 with a locker, and it probably has ATRAC which is awesome. I take my truck up in the Sierras in snow, and the desert and it gets me home.
That 2011 has uphill and downhill assist you can disable the air bags when off road and the traction control when off road for better traction.

Yep, go for the 11' you will love that truck. I also think 19K is a good price for what you get in that truck. Like Lynlan said and I sad earlier. Try to get them down (you can)
    and add a longer warranty.

Hey guys so went and took a look at the 11'. Definitely close to exactly what I wanted but not as clean on the underside as i was hoping for and not super comfortable with the number they through at me off the bat. After some deep thinking last night I've decided to be patient and when the times right it'll happen. Thinking of waiting till spring (tax money, and get some odds and ends paid off) and maybe going after something a little newer. I seriously want to thank you guys though. If not for you i would have probably would have jumped right on that 06. And probably would have lead to regret down the road. I will for sure be updating this thread when i get back into buying mode. Im sure ill have some more questions for you guys. Thanks again -Cody

    Some advice:
Go to your bank or credit union and get pre-approved for an auto loan. This way, the dealer knows you’re serious about getting a truck and will be willing to make a better price on the truck. It is possible that the dealer might be partnered with a local bank and they might be able to offer you a better deal on financing. If they do, you can take the better deal.

Did this with my credit union when buying my Taco. The dealer wasn’t able to get me a better loan. However it gave me all the power when it came to bargaining. The dealer gave me two counter offers to which I refused and stayed firm to my original offer. They finally accepted my offer and the rest is history.
