    I had a feeling.

On a long enough timeline, everything gets an LS.

I think you should make it a little race truck. Fix up the interior, swap the engine or whatever, upgrade the brakes and suspension. Cause it’s all really simple to do, obviously.

Part out. Let it live on in trucks all over the country. Might turn a profit... (dibs on the fan shroud)

If I can't get it legal with the CA DMV I will part it out. I'm keeping the bed to turn into a trailer, lol.

Bed and the rear frame section. Cut the frame so there's about 5ft extra out front. V the top and bottom of the frame and bend them together in the front. Weld on a hitch and bingo you got a trailer.

could be worse lol could get a subaru impreza which my friend thinks is the best vehicle ever. until i bet him if he could drive into the corn field without getting stuck i'll sell my tacoma and buy one. what i didnt tell him was that it rained the day before. the top soil was dry but 1"-2" below that was clay that was soaked. he drove 20' and sunk to the frame :p

Why? Honestly what do you need a trailer for? And how would a truck bed trailer benefit you vs a normal one?

    What id do. Street rod.

    Or...

Just because it looks cool, honestly. I don't need a trailer at all - would be great for camping though. Would also make a fun project. The whole reason I found this truck was because I was shopping around for a used bed and bumper to buy.

Used this 2nd gen as inspiration:

IMO if your dragging a trailer out to the sticks to go camping you're bringing too much shit and should just stay home.

Idea was to have a RTT on the trailer and keep all the camping supplies on it, and keep the truck itself with the bare essentials and spare to go off-roading with.

Depends on the type of camping I guess.

When my group of friends go “camp” or I guess somecall it “glamping” it’s usually every weekend, Thursday Night- Sunday afternoon, April- Mid May, and then the last 2 weeks of May straight.

    We need stuff.

I was married and already a father at 19. We celebrated our 30th anniversary last September, and our second grandchild was born seven days ago. Life is good.

Couldn't reasonably take one to places I like to camp. The trailer idea is cool, but impractical for anything other than camping off FS roads. Love the look of them though, but really if you think you need that much space to camp for two weeks then you probably need to learn to choose and pack better.
