Trigger pulled....now the long wait begins, made even longer by our underwhelming snow season

Haha, didn’t see that little piece at the bottom when I first looked. Still, 60 is a solid number of orders for a pre-production product.

When do you guys plan to show the different color options (White, Black, Grey) for the camper? Will they only be matte finishes like the test camper? Trying to decide which color option I want!

So the upper frame and machined parts will be exactly the same color as the prototype (forge gray for the extrusions and titanium anodize for the machined parts). The lower tube frame can be had in either the orange of the prototype or in the forge gray to match the upper frame if you don't want to be as flashy. The outer panels will be a semi-gloss black, white, or a gray we're still deciding on. I can say now that the panel gray will split the difference between the tacoma silver sky metallic and the magnetic gray, that way it will look good on either factory color since there will be enough contrast to make it look intentional and not like a bad color matching job :)

The two production units we're building the first week in March will be white and gray but I can take photos with the gray test piece against a truck once we choose it.

Awesome love the options! I have a white Tacoma so I feel like all those colors would look good, looking forward to seeing the first two production units to help me decide.

Will you also be offering a bare metal option similar to the Habitat? Diggin this look tooAE51F122-62B6-41BE-B286-20CAF0161C26.jpg

Two questions regarding tent portion: 1) side windows, does the mesh zip down/off? 2) it appears that it is intended to sleep with a person's head oriented towards the cab rather than the tailgate, if so is there a reason for this? I ask b/c of the side window orientation near a person's head... which if is the case would condensation be more of an issue than a person sleeping with his head oriented at the rear with the taller space of the tent?

There would be a large window by your head if you slept the other direction, its the window at the end door. Windows at the lower height do just what you are describing, vent the moisture, and create a draw from the smaller side windows to the large vent at the tall, open end.

Sub’d and.... put my money where my *mouse* is.... looks like I’m order number 062. Really looking forward to see what options are available. Namely the ability to bolt on common brackets for a rear or either side awning/ enclosure. This thing looks exactly like what I’ve been dreaming of.... i was VERY close to going with the ARE lifttopper these past few years but this looks so much more robust and at little to no weight penalty. Super pumped. Thank you GFC

I'd like to know more about entering and exiting the upper tent area. How much of a pull-up does it take to get up top?
