Dayum! Pulleys are such a pain. How you liking the 2.6? What are you using for tuning and extra fuel?

I’m in Maine so it’s in the garage until spring. No extra fuel mods except for fpr mod. Gonna get a fuel gauge and was my afr and fuel pressure and see how she goes. Don’t wanna get ucon or anything.

Guys I have a question so feel free to comment on it I'm looking into purchasing a snorkel but everywhere I read of implementing a snorkel with a supercharger talks about Air Flow Restriction and losing horsepower when combined with force induction, (ARB) ensures that there snorkel meets and exceeds the demand of air flow!
So the question is to snorkel or not to snorkel?

I wouldn't. The more bends you have in an intake air induction system the worse off you are for building boost. The snorkels utilize tons of bends.

I have a Bruteforce Fab hybrid bumper. I'm trying to mount a winch in there (Smittybuilt x20 10Klbs). But the Intercooler pump is in the way. Has anyone moved that or is it easier to try and re drill the mounting holes? Figured I couldn't be the only one to run into this.IMG_1633.jpg

You could relocate it wherever as long as it stays as the lowest point in the intercooler system and you would prob need new hoses.

Thanks! But another question, does it need to stay in front of the inter cooler and radiator? Does it need airflow to keep it cool? Just seems like an inconvenient spot to mount it.

I'm thinking it's easier to just re drill the holes for the winch mount..

I don't believe it needs to be cooled as that's the intercoolers job and it is liquid cooled by the coolant flowing through it. The pumps are rated for some temperature in normal operation

Be aware, that some snorkels will reduce boost pressure. Proven.

I've had a snorkel on my taco for just about a year with 0 issues. Granted im only boosted no other supporting mods but besides for the loudness of the AFE before nothing has changed.

EDIT: I have the airflow an supposedly its SC rated

I think if you are using a snorkel you need to remove the air filter that is riveted into the air box and you should be ok with boost. Again not 100% sure on that, but I know that filter can be a restriction.

^^This^^ BUT, if the snorkel diameter is large diameter and you are not looking for max boost/performance then you should be fine.
What is the smallest diameter in the snorkel? Are you running smaller sc pulley?
