yeah or you could get wheelers stainless lines for 1st gen tacomas. You still by the sounds of it have to modify the bolt.

Spacers??

 

I currently have spacers but didn't when I first installed the wheels.

 

Yes stock line and bolt. I was fully aware people are buying Wheeler lines when doing the Tundra mod and I originally intended to go that way. This pair of calipers came up locally for too good of a price for me to pass up so I picked them up after seeing the minimal differences between it and the 13WL, I do have a mill so I figured if they didn't work I'd just mill my own holes.

Stock 1st gen line worked just fine, I could have milled off the "hook ends" but I figured just get it on there and monitor to decide if I'll need aftermarket lines or not. I'm the kind of person who prefers doing modifications myself and turning the Banjo bolt took less than 2 minutes on my lathe. Everything worked well with no leaks so I moved onto modifying my UCA.

Maybe when next brake fluid flush ill take the lines off and get rid of the "hooks".

Yes. All fit. In fact, all SCS wheels fit by design.

 

Anyone running or know if Dick Cepek 16" rims will work using tundra calipers, brakes?

Yes and Yes. Look at the center cap to answer your question as to why they’re called Snowflake wheels.

Found a wrecked 2004 tundra v8 2wd. It should have the 13WL calipers, correct? Or could it have the smaller 13WE’s? Can’t seem to find a definitive answer and hate to make the drive for nothing.

 

Toyota changed the Caliper later in the generation, so the 2004 most likely has it.

Make sure you get the entire brake lines too. Up to the frame where the 'C' clip is.

This is what I think of when I hear “Snowflake rim”

I think these would look pretty snazzy on my truck, especially with the “fire chicken”!
