Going by this thread the snorkel is not gonna be a real popular option

The answer to that (and not necessarily the guy in the pic) is someone who instagrams more than they actually off road.

    snorkel doesn't fix stupid.

From how deep that looks you can easily cross that without a snorkel.
Judging by the huge splash guy was just a moron and floored it and forced water in lol.

Just like this idiot. I've gone through this exact crossing plenty of times no snorkel without issue.

Yeah, that's why I said it was easily doable without a snorkel. The previous tacomas made it through without a hitch. I've done it myself as well no problem.

For the record, I'm happy they don't come with rear disc brakes

For the record, I'm not happy they don't come without a snorkel

The ignorance in some of these posts amazes me...

Snorkel is not for everyone, I get it...certainly has it's purpose, but not for most....obviously.

Personally not a fan of snorkels...aesthetically speaking.

What is interesting in the preview pic is the redesigned front end. Like what I see so far.

Edit...the dust skewed my perspective. The bumper isn't redesigned...so I guess it's just the snorkel.

umm, all that shows is a dusty truck, mostly from ash, in one pic, not a dusty road. A snorkel doesn't help at all with ash. And I have no idea what the other person was thinking. Ash is not the same as dust, btw. I also already said I was on the wet side, he's on the dry side. But whatever. I'm sure you'll find someone else to argue pointlessly with soon.

Not trying to be a dick, but how is that front end re-designed (if you are referring to the pic in the first post)?
