I like it. It allows me to have “bed lights” so I can clean fish/deer on the back or just work on the tailgate of my truck. I can put the tailgate down and see really well when backing up. I wanted to go that route because I didn’t want to cut holes in my new bumper.

Placed my order on feb 1st and was given an estimated 8 week wait.
Got a surprise call to come pick em up.

    5days beats 8 weeks!

    Install Sunday...

You guys think I should get an alignment after the install or wait (roughly)
2 months until I get UCAs to do it?

You'll want to set the ride height with the new coil overs which idk if your gonna lift it a bit or what. But chances are it'll be different. If the difference is a lot(stock OEM suspension to a 2'' lift) then yes you should.

    I’m currently sitting at 2.5” with 5100s.
I’d like to achieve close to that with the Kings. But I’m not going to preload the shit out of them either. So we’ll see how it goes.

It probably won't be a huge difference but if you're going from stock height to a 2.25 or 2.5" lift you might wanna consider either getting the arms sooner or getting two alignments.

They are at a 2.5 lift now with the 5100s so it shouldn’t be too much of a difference. We see how it goes

Oh man. I don’t know if I can wait 2 months. Haha the driver side shock took a beating at plastercity last month. Lost some fluid. I’ll probably throw in the Kings this weekend and try to get those UCAs ASAP. If it’s needing an alignment then I’ll get one before and after the UCAs I suppose.

Getting the tools and learning how to do my own alignments has been one of the best investments for my truck.

Most of those alignment 'techs' don't know what the hell they're doing, especially on our lifted trucks.

I was looking at tools for it again. Have some nicer toe plates out there now with wheel stand offs instead of laying them against the tires. Thing I can't find worth a shit anymore is the turntables.

Absolutely. It’s not voodoo magic, and you don’t really need fancy tools to do it either (although it makes it a little easier)
