What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Thinking about purchasing this guy. Thoughts?

 

That’s the first thing I did after trying to use the stock lug wrench, maybe I need to chat with my service guy about what they are torquing the lugs too after tire rotations. Even so I would never count on that thing in an emergency.

Forgot to mention earlier today I bought a real nice digital Tire Pressure guage for those air down / up scenarios. Also picked up a couple 16oz bottles of seafoam and dumped a full bottle into my taco

 

I had a nice digital gauge, until the 1 day I needed it and it was dead. Of course it took the small watch batteries which I did not have out in the field. Went to an mechanical ARB gauge.. never looked back.

 

Yeah, I was tossed over the idea. It was a quick pitstop at an advanced auto parts store on my way to wheeling in the pine barrens.

In my wife’s car (2016 Prius) I have both a digital and a mechanical guage. I used to commute in that Prius and used to be fanatical about tire pressure and MPG’s so I would take the average of both gauges.

Maybe I should just return the damn digital and go with a faithful mechanical for the taco? Or I might just steal the mechanical from my wife’s car and return the digi. Lol.

I have no problem enlarging the hole but I wanted to keep the 12V outlet/cigarette lighter just in case I needed it for something in the future.

 

Just doing some reading. Detroit Auto show. Developmental F150 engine. 2.7 with 270hp. But wait...480lb-ft torque.......but wait....combined 37mpg and it's not a hybrid....

 

Our tacos have about 270 hp and I’m avg’ing like 16 Mpg for the last couple months closer to 14ish...

 

I'm assuming you are asking about the grille? Not 100% my style but that's OK. I see nothing wrong with it and I like the Raptor lights.
The question is what do YOU think about it? If you like it I say go for it.

 

He is the best! I think he is the Toyota suspension king. I am going to be looking him up to put on a hide-a-winch bumper and winch soon. I just haven’t found the one I want yet.

Yeah. It's a a 3 cylinder, 2.7-liter Opposed-Piston Gasoline Compression Ignition (OPGCI) engine. Yes 3 cylinders

 

You could always use the one inside the center console. I just have no use for the one on the dash. I also added a blue sea panel in the truck bed for all of my camping needs.

 

Yes but 6 piston, 2 crankshafts and NO cylinder heads. Lol
