Getting a lot of burn-through on some of those tacks, try turning your wire speed down a bit to keep temperature down. Are you running flux core?

Why would you not just put the whole bedside on? Would have been so much easier

I used the largest replacement panels I could find. I haven’t started the passenger side. Kinda past the point of no return here. If you can point me to where I can find the complete panel, I’d much prefer doing things the easy way and may opt to go that way on the passenger side even though I already have the panel.

I'd remove the bed liner before getting too into it. If the outside looks like that it will be a miracle if the floor seams are not rotten

Almost done getting wiring shortened nicely on my RTMR, just gotta extend the cab harness side and I'm golden.

Ah just measurements and stuff ya know. I can’t afford to make anything really anyway.

The only thing I want to make atm is a rear bumper, and it’s really simple hahaha.

In my camping trips my 5,7,and 8 year old aways go. Along with the non enthusiastic wife, everything for 4 days with fun and extras fit. I only take 10gal of gas and 10 of water. If i need water purification I have the means. I have a 4ft bed dblcb

It takes more heat to burn flux cored wire. If you have the option of gas and solid core use it. Stitch a in on top and the bottom, then switch sides to decrease warpage. If you can tack flat bar in tight on the back that will also help dissapate the heat.

New bedsides are around 240.00 for steel, i was just looking. If i find a link i will pm it to you.
