Just out of curiosity, besides seat fabric and carpet, what part of ANY interior isn't plastic?

Went to the local autoshow and was so underwhelmed with the interior.

I had a 2017 yukon full package everything as a rental for about two weeks and even the interior on that thing is garbage

It had 18,000 miles on it and drove like a ford windstar

Chevy makes less than average quality products. Fact.

    Cheap interior, yes

I feel more comfortable driving the colorado over the tacoma, nicer seating position.

Plenty more power with the v6, i have 33s on the zr2 and it still feels it has more pickup than the tacoma.

Also it should be a different comparison, go rent the trd pro, then bash the zr2. Because everyone that made the switch from a base colorado into a zr2 says it drives and handles completely different. 5000 miles and no issues, about to take it in for the first free service (toyota never did this on my new tacoma?)

Why are you here? Last time I checked, this was a Tacoma owners and enthusiasts forum. Seems like f150 owners and Tundra owners also have nothing else better to do but lurk the 3rd Gen forum and stir shit up. Maybe I should make a bullshit account on your Colorado forum and put a picture of my 3rd Gen as my avatar and talk shit on there forum all day. Trust me, I've looked and you guys have ton of issues..

Got @Kamille.bidan going around on a TACOMA forum calling people dumbass fanboys. News flash! We are fan boys. We belong to a Tacoma Forum! This isn't a generic truck forum with all the makes in one pot. This is a specific forum for people with specific vehicles that honestly most like. I love mine. If we bash a brand, well thats us against a competitor...
Guys seriously need to stop trolling and take a step back from that keyboard and do something else.

Me. I have been Jeep and GM for many years. My 3rd Gen Tacoma is my first and only Tacoma ever owned and literally couldn't be happier at all. That's coming from multiple blazers, silverardos, a rubicon, XJ Cherokee, liberty and hell there was even a Subaru in there as well. And I gave Toyota a shot and I'm sold for life.

Never had a toyota in my life, ditched my ford and came to tacoland. So I'm 1.

Oh and @Ttaco15 of course your z2 or whatever handles better than all the other models, you are riding in a totally different truck suspension wise.

IMO, Ford is the only domestic that gets things right most of the time. They seem to have more worldly experience. The Ranger should be nice. GM insults us with cheap crap year after year. Seem to always be decent vehicles with the worst interiors.

Any potentially legitimate points you may have made in your rant were completely ignored because you opened with insulting people on their home turf and then exposed yourself as a Colorado fanboy. You destroyed any credibility you could have had. Learn how to structure valid arguments and express yourself without making yourself sound like an idiot.

I gotta say, after driving a 2015 Colorado 4x4 V6 ZR1 for two years, I feel just the opposite. The Chevy was much more refined, and a HELL of a lot quieter inside than my Tacoma. I swore I'd never buy a GM product, and I probably never will again, but in my opinion the Colorado interior was much nicer than the Tacoma. If the transmission hadn't been such a complete mess, I would have kept the Colorado and hoped it lasted.
