    I believe you can get the second gen skin and it will fit with this cap. but you should ask them about that to make sure

    I just PM'd them asking if it was a 2 piece or one piece to see what the deal was. If it is two seperate pieces I would still want your cap obviously, if it is only one piece I might have to pass sorry.

    Curious to see what they say... that pic looked like it was all one pc. But I could be wrong. Maybe that is one pc with the "lip" for added protection, and then you would still need that cap pc.

    Yeah I do too, but you gotta add in the lower for that too which makes it about 180 (w/shipping) vs the 232. Eitherway, yes it is a better deal. Also noticed that the 2nd gen is steel and the 3rd gen is aluminum, since the 2nd gen tailgate was weaker.

    This cap I have is steel I believe. Dont hold me to that though. It seems too heavy to be aluminum but its powder coated and hard to tell... and im no expert.
