Howdy y'all! Looks like mostly snow in Somerville. At least an inch or two so far. Work was supposed to get 5-8" so I'm WFH.

If only I could relax! Busy busy week this week.

I am tempted to go drive around in the truck though and have some fun

Just drove to Bennington VT and back, roads are pretty crappy and people are stuck on hills all over the place. Put it in 4 wheel and just cruised the whole time.

You have a job lined up? Talking to my father, they can't find drivers anywhere in the area that have some experience and have their licenses, they call all the majors and they can't even lend out extras because everyone is short staffed. Sounds like the industry is hot right now.

Looks like I was mistaken. 35* and all rain here now. That should wash away most of the snow I hope!

    Cool.
Didn't know you were up to that.
I was Telco Lineman for 33 years down here until my back surgery a little over a year ago and I took an inside job at my company for my final few years till retirement.
Yea, I know we don't work with voltage, but did a lot of the same stuff like setting poles and working with power co. on pole hits, storm, etc.
    Good Luck!
My final pole set..threading the needle...

Wow. We've got close to 6 inches on the ground already and there's still a lot more storm ahead of us than behind us.

We didn't get nearly the amount they were predicting. I'd say 4", 5" tops.

It's still snow here. No signs of sleet or rain yet.

It looks like my estimate was a little high; I was just outside on a break and measured it and we've actually got about 4-4.5 so far.

I just plowed as my weather said the switch would be upon me by about 3. I'd say we got 4-5 inches, but it was nice heavy snow, not the pow pow that disappears as I groom. But, I just shoveled and walked the dogs and it is now 100% ice coming down nice and steady. :bananadead::mad:
