I hate that stuff.

 

That looks like the one I have. They work for weight distribution but no sway control built in. I don't use any sway control on mine, the truck handles the little trailer just fine on it's own. If/when I get a bigger trailer, I'll get one of the new units with sway built in. Some of the high end models have made a science out of it. Neat that they've figured it all out but I can't see paying $2,000 for a hitch.

Yeah... but then I'd have to live in RI...

 

If you had snow already why would you plow before it was supposed to switch to ice? If I know it's going to switch to ice I'll leave the snow on the ground, so I can get underneath the ice layer with the plow and clean it out completely. If I plow first I end up coming out the next morning to a skating rink

 

I did have that thought as I went out to plow, and I have to say I completely ignored it I went ahead with my original plan of plowing once this afternoon, and again in the morning. Will I regret it tomorrow when I have to load the snowblower in the truck to go clean up the business? Maybe

 

It's up to 31F down here but still raining...

 

ours is 23 and feels like 13, been raining steady for an hour at least.

 

I'll be waiting for that to be happening here. We got a few inches of snow but, changed over to mix/rain at 2. Parking lot here is already a sheet of ice.

 

Left a little early. Commute was super quick to the gym. Typically takes 1.25 he's, only took 35 minutes today. Rain/ snow ftw

 

Just throw some sand and salt down after the rain stops

 

That was me seven years ago today. Ended up on the ground with a broken fibula, and broken lateral and medial malleolus bones.

I shuffle stepped everywhere even tho there was no ice to speak of.

 

Drive home wasn't too bad. There was a bit of snow on the roads, some slush, and a bit of ice, but nothing crazy.

Main road were mainly just wet. There was a bit of snow & ice on the front windshield when I got out of work, but it "broke" right off. Was drizzling/raining by the time I headed home. I think that's all it's doing outside right now too.

 

And oh yeah, FedEx came through and delivered my shoes!

 

Snow machine is back on in the berks.

I'd love to get some more sneakers. My issue is that I get ones that I really like and I've spent too much money on, so they sit in a box and only get pulled out on special occasions. I've got a solid 4 pairs like that right now. My day to day shoes are probably between 2-8 years old.

That reminds me, I need a new pair of steel toed boots for work. I get reimbursed up to $150, once a year.

 

Anyone go on the rants and raves section of craigslist ever? I know a lot of you guys follow the "for sale" thread. The people on it are crazy as hell, but it's pretty entertaining if you are just

 

Never got into it but a guy at my work does. I can't even follow along. I have no idea what they're talking about. Lol
