Is the 2nd photo on Smithsonian Butte Backway? If so, did you go all the way from Grafton to Gooseberry Mesa turn-off?? And if you did that, how were the road conditions??? Thanks!!!

Yes! All clear. I drove from 59 I’m Apple Vly all the way across to 9 in Rockville. Bumpy but no ruts or any high clearance rocks. Even passed a Subaru going across.

Awesome! Thank you!! I'm heading down there for a long weekend. A few months ago that road was in bad shape.

Sweet. My window for that temp. range is approaching very fast lol. Did you put clear coat over it at all? When I was looking on Amazon at a couple different things, they said to make sure you get clear coat with the paint to put over it

You think I could get it to attach to my new grille? It has a thicker profile. That’s what I’m worried about.

All you need to do is scoot over to the Home Depot or Lowes and pick up some longer bolts and either drill holes and use larger fender style washers or make, or buy the backing plate @Andres sells and use that with longer bolts. Then there's always 3M automotive tape. Once that tape is set up it isn't going anywhere unless someone really pulls on it. I would do longer bolts to be sure it stays there though.

so I see its a 10/32 thread. I'm thinking of getting the large model T emblem. you think I could just get some oversized washers want longer bolts from hardware store with 10/32 thread and it would work just the same without buying the fabricated mid plate?

Sounds like a perfect plan since the solid logo emblem will hide the washers. The Horns On Fire is open like the OEM and you might see larger fender style washers with that but you should be good to go with the Old School T Logo. Nice choice!

If you can provide me with the thickness of your grille I can send you some extra screws at no charge.
