You could make up for it with extra gold chains and mullet.

Hmm... well I can already clear curbs at the mall pretty well, what else would the Kings be good for?

Seriously though every time I see that King blue it makes my heart beat faster. Can't wait to see how yours turns out!

Dropped it off this morning, hoping to hear back by tonight and should have it tomorrow!!!

Christmas a few days early, congrats!
I'm sticking with my 2.5s up front and remotes out back cause I like the red coils. Blue doesn't match my color scheme.

That was my gripe aswell, I wish I could of ponied up the extra cash for a color swap (was considering orange or gold :anonymous:)

But I didnt feel the $600 or so extra charge is worth it. And after seeing how it arrived with some nicks/small dents, small chipping, and scratches... Im glad I didnt pay extra for a color swap.

It's ok, that'll make it easier to get it dirty the first time you wheel with it :mudding:

@BVita just noticed your Fuelly stats - I'm right at 0.1 avg mpg better than you, so if you add a S/C you'd be making money with all that gas savings. Totally logical move.

Just small imperfections which probably most wouldnt card about, but I have OCD lol.
most of the spots would be impossible to see once installed so Im over it at this point. haha

ha-ha. knowing me, guarantee you that stat will drop to single digits after a few tanks. I’d be addicted to that whine.

For sure. I did one of those insurance trackers for 3 months and drove like a granny (dropped 12% off my rate). Averaged about 16mpg with the tracker on ... then 13.5 the two tanks after the Big Brother device came off. Love me some acceleration.

Very nice, let’s see it! I had a 10M from the early 40s that was an ugly relacquer but an absolute monster player. Does yours have rolled tone holes?

A gem of a horn today: Selmer Mark VI low A baritone in nice original condition. My friend’s father bought it new in 1958 and I’m tuning it up for him / having fun playing it till he gets suspicious.

Beautiful truck and build! I'm not quite confident enough to say we are twins, but we are damn near brothers. Exact same truck, with S/C and same lift (added top spacer up front and progressive AAL in rear). Jealous of your cooled leather!!
    Nice build!

Thank you brother! Great to know there's another one around. Any other tips / mods you've done that I need to know about?

With @Biddaddy76 that makes 3 of rocking the greatest truck in town. And unless/until they turbo or s/c the new 3.5L, there's not a better Taco out there.

Ditto. I have a feeling I will have this truck for a long time. I'm jealous of your brand new leather. I was thinking about a moonroof, but I can't seem to bear having someone cut a hole in my roof. Even if they do warranty it for life, I just can't seem to get myself to pull the trigger.
I had the silver fake beadlock rings powdercoated. Mine are "triple bronze". I also installed black DEPO taillights. My slider steps were only purchased for my girls (mom, wife, and daughter) to climb in and out, but I have to admit, they've saved my rocker panels more than once. HAHA. That's about it for mods.
If you're ever in my area, hit me up. We can grab some beers and talk trucks.

Let’s see those wheels, sounds nice!

What kind of sliders do you have? Yeah, mine are pretty much the only reason my wife tolerates my truck. Works for me.

I had a moonroof in my old truck. I was all about it for the first little while but don’t miss it at all. You’re right about cutting that huge hole in the roof...

Hit me up if you’re ever in SLC

I got a sunroof in my double cab short bed 2012 taco. One of the best decisions I ever made, but I also like feeling the wind and being cool over being hot. Cost me around 1200 and going strong after a year already!
