    Welcome to TW! If you are able to get one of your tires up onto one of the parking lot curbs at the mall then you are surely a 4x4. ;) Or you could check to see if you have a 4x4 switch on the inside to the left of your AC knobs.

    I have a trd sport and not sure if I have a 4wd! But it have #4 next to the drive gear!

    Reason why I asked, is if it’s what I am thinking, you have a 2nd gen tacoma and that 4-D is just the gear. If you have 4x4 you should have a knob or another stick that has 4 hi and 4 lo written.
