Hey folks, just found out a point of interest on our trucks....I needed brake pads, so I got some and cut the rotors........they were warped to hell...7 passes....well now the damn truck shakes when the brakes are used.....turns out the only way to cut rotors on this truck is to do an on car cut.

Because of how the rotors mount the rotors warp at the hub, especially if you use an impact gun to run in the lugs.........

Just looked at rotor prices.......just replace the rotors and pads, don't even try cutting....now I got to live with the shake for a while.........some of yall might know bout this......on the machine they looked straight....:frusty:

Bane of my existence. I have lost count of how many Toyota door handles I've broken. Have replaced with different brands. Have kept them lubed, but it always happens. Really wish someone made replacements out of aluminium or a stronger plastic.
