I have an appointment this weekend with a local vinyl shop to measure and create overall layout for the hood. I can't seem to find a place interested unless they are physically installing it, but at the very least - once mine's done I can create a layout with measurements and then start contacting separate companies.

You can't wax the hood decal so it will dry out and the edges begin to roll in a few years. It will be a mess eventually and be full of white chaulky wax lines at the edges.

I've used turtle wax ice on hood decals for years with no problems

If the local vendor was not able to help, I have a 48" vinyl plotter and I stock Avery 7year matte black vinyl in both 30" and 48" rolls. I could possibly get the shape figured out and adding the pro or trd logos wouldn't be an issue. The biggest issue Is the shape as my truck is only a 2nd generation. But with some pictures and measurements I could get it going I'm sure. I've done many lettering jobs strictly from paper tracing existing letters. It takes a few templates to run till it's perfect, but definitely possible. If it was to be just a blank decal it would be cheaper. To cut the logo out it would require a transfer tape added to the face for install. And for a piece that size, I wouldn't recommend rolling it tight with the transfer tape. So shipping would be a little more costly with this option as well. Again, nothing that can't be done....if you can't get it locally.

I know this is working in favor of the 3rd gen trucks right now but my 2nd gen could rock one of those as well!

I think the part that makes the decal in the original post different If the front looks smaller in width. This is making a more severe angle on the sides which I think makes it more aggressive looking.

As long as it's scoopless! The vinyl will not contour well over the scoop
