    my cabin filter is constantly clogged with acorns, leaves and just big chunks of shit. not must dust or dirt but when i change it out it usually rips so just cleaning it isnt an option, i do plan on making a re-usable one like someone made here.

    i took a extra piece of gutter guard that i had, some tin snips, spare nuta s and bolts and soem weatherstripping. i lifted the cowl over the a/c intake port, cut a piece to fit and used some factory holes to mount it. took 10 minutes and i hope it keeps the bif stuff OUT.

    If you open the hood, it is on the passenger side up by the windshield under the plastic black shroud.

    Under the hood, and windshield cowl, on the passenger side.

    Good idea, looks like it will work well!

    Hmm...how does shit get in there in the first place? Is there a gap in the thing that goes over the blower vent? I thought that had a grill on it.

    Excellent mod +++
    Do you think something like screen door mateiral would be a good idea also for smaller items? This way you could cut a larger piece and then strap something around the edges to hold it down or put a bead of silicone around the lip and gently press the screen material on the edges. You could pull it off easy either way.

    BTW - If anyone cares to respond about any of these being too restrictive, please just hold down the power button on your computer, thanks........:rolleyes:
