    I have moto bud in OZ, would love to have a Tundra. But to get the right hand steering conversion is insanely expensive, so he won't do it.

    He does work in the mining industry and gets to drive the LC70's and HiLuxes and hates them, thinks they are rough riding underpowered turds. Where-as his brother has a diesel Rangie and speaks highly of it, says it blows the HiLux out of the water.

    Let me get this straight. The same guys who drive around in a truck with a leveling kit, oversized tires w/ stock axle ratio, and a spray painted plastidip grille think a snorkel is ridiculous? That snorkel is probably one of the least ridiculous things on this whole forum.

    So much 3rd Gen envy. The latest Tacoma is the 1st and only Toyota Pickup to ever turn heads, and everyone knows it. I get so many compliments from average non-Toyota people. That attention bothers some, and some prefer utilitarian styling over fashion......however, just because the Sheetmetal on a 3rd gen looks sexy, doesn’t mean the truck is not capable. Those who have off-roaded a third gen Tacoma know just how good it is. Barring some TSBs that never left anyone stranded, so far they have also proven to be just as reliable as any other Toyota. Time will tell.

    All in all, the 3rd Gen Taco inspires people......in a way no recent Toyota pickup, or that god awful looking VW Hilux ever will.

    Apparently they did some mods and it is fine.

    - Tacoma gets TRD-branded periscope / snorkel accessory (optional)
    - 4Runner gets LED fog lights (unk. brand yet), roof rack (unk. if optional)
    - Tundra returns, get LED "fog" lights (Rigid cubes = gonna have some glare
