well. Got more parts in today. This time its all the parts that were suppose to be replaced with my frame. Now i have them all. body coming off soon to do touch up (not a whole lot needed) and install all the new parts...

Also in talks with the general manager of my store to buy our 98 tacoma plow truck.. Needs a frame and its body is rough. But its a 2.7l regular cab with manual hubs and an auto.. Things got less than 50k on the ODO. Hopefully he'll sell it to me.. i believe i can get a new frame for it for a decent price. If i can get one, it'll be getting all my old body parts. should be a nice truck when its done if i do indeed convince him to sell it

Are the trans cross members in the same spot on the manuals as the autos?

hopefully a 01 up frame isn't too different other than the leaf springs.. i can still get those new possibly for a reasonable price..

Mmm should be the same. Long as it's a prerunner/4wd frame vs a 5 lug frame. Those are very different

of course. looks like the manual frames are a different part number as well. likely from cross member location. I shall check with my parts department tomorrow on availability.. They will sell me this damn truck.. ive always wanted a 4x4 regular cab.

Ok, just did some measurements from the center of the top shock mount to the center bottom shock mount, its 22" with no weight in the bed. Trying to find out how much weight I'll have in the bed and how much the truck will lower as well. I'm guessing when I'm fully loaded with gear it'll be around 500 pounds. Roof top tent, bed cage, tools, 2 full spare tires, rear plate bumper, 20 gallons of gas and 10 gallons of water.

Would a 10" travel ads shock be ok with that or should I get a different travel size? The leaf springs are the all pro expos
