Well, On Tuesday evening wife saw a post on the book of faces, Cat had to go, they couldn't wait till Friday.

So I left south of Portland at 12:30 (snowing for an hour) drove 4 hours just north of Bangor and returned for 8 and 1/2 hours of snow/sleet. I will say with some better tires the 3rd gen taco is a freaking beast.

But anyways this is why I treated my truck like a snowmobile.

When I first put him in the truck

Well, to be fair, his hair ain't gonna get deeply embedded in that blanket by itself.

Not even 24 hours home and acting like it's been forever.



And mr pissed off..




He was outside when I came home last night, came in about 5 minutes later. He ran down the drive way and into the house, when he quickly stopped in his tracks and started looking around, like WTF is going in here, something is not the same. Needless to say, only had hissing and growling so far, I figure in a week or two all will be well.

 

That's the beauty of Bengal cats = no fur. At the trade off of them going bat shit crazy for 22hrs a day.

He's my 3rd shift buddy. These guys are super nocturnal. And I'm sure they've adapted to my lifestyle. So when I get home 7am they just winding done from the night of chaos. Great for me.

Although he's got a bit of a weeze and hates the morning exercise routine (The weeze caused the fatz, not the other way around)

 

im definitely more of a cat than dog guy... i just find it easier to scoop some litter once in a while rather than have to let a dog out to shit lol.

Lol jk! I want a blue Russian (I think that’s what they are called).

But my lifestyle fits more for dogs. Unless I can run with a cat on a leash

 

This was Elvis, He passed from Kidney failure 3 years ago. 2 months short of his 21st Birthday. I still have not been able to pick a replacement for him.

 

They have a mean disposition, I have had 2 of them and never again.

 

Really? I thought they liked to just chill and lay.

 

Yeah, they are one person cats as far as I can tell and I was not thst person. Lay there and chill until u need to crate them for the vet etc... then it's all claws and teeth.
