I know. I’ve got a lot of friends that love living down there cause of the fishing. That’s it’s one big selling point lol.

The epic offshore trip I took was off of key biscane down by miami. I’ve never caught fish like that before. It was incredible. Certainly doesn’t compare to lake or river fishing which is all I’ve ever done.

You mean you've never been to the gulf or to the ledge off the coast of NC? The fishing out there is pretty epic, still not like FL but it gets close.

 

Haven’t been offshore here. That Florida trip was paid for by a friend of mine in FL.

When it comes to fishing in the ocean I’m sorely lost haha. Put me in a lake or river, fly rod, bait caster, spinning rod.. doesn’t matter, I’ll catch fish. Put me on the ocean with $10k in tackle and equipment and all I’ll do is drown bait. I’m baffled.. I need an old man to teach me the ways of coastal fishing

 

I grew up with gramps taking me out sadly though I didn't pay enough attention as a kid to pick everything I should have up for the types of fishing and species. I know enough to get by and that's about it. The only thing I am good at catching in the freshwater is crappie, stripers, and catfish.

Haha it's my home. I love it here.
But yeah, the fishing here is not like lake fishing lol. I was always bored when I went in Kentucky or NC cause it was so much more rare to catch somethin, for me at least. But here, I'll go out anytime and come back with a few good ones.

 

Did you mean “does anyone know how to grind?” Everyone knows how to weld as long as they know how to grind

 

If you have to grind your welds to make them look good that makes you a grinder then

Haha I have zero welding skills. Never taught how to weld and have never tried.

One day, I’m gonna buy a cheap welder and start practicing

 

Went to Red Robin last night... Yumm wasn't even in my vocabulary for that meal. I don't have high expectations for places like that but i would think better than some burger a kid at a fast food place dropped on the floor before serving..
