short work commute, and wife's car is always better on MPG so we take that for longer trips that don't require bringing the trailer, and the time we went to disney with the trailer we borrowed my in laws yukon denali xl.....soooo she can stay relatively nice lol

I hear that! I try to do the same thing... but as the wife's MX7 gets older, and is starting to have more problems, I don't feel comfortable taking her car on longer trips.

 

If only the frame would last as long as my motor will.

 

I hear that! That's a damn shame right there.

 

Next truck I buy will get the framed coated inside and out with fluid film from day one. I do take the truck on long trips once an awhile and that helps or also so known as the Italian tune-up.

I hear that. Honestly I thought that was kinda meh. Yeah they are adding a "desert air intake", Rigid Industries fog lights, and Fox internal bypass shocks with TRD coilovers.

Well shit, that's already easy enough to do aftermarket. And you know they are going to charge 3 times the price.

Yeah but things that nobody ever talks about are different. For me it was the TRD seats

So on that stream when they had the manager for TRD from Toyota answering question I asked if they would be releasing a "desert air intake" kit for older model Tacos, and I think they answered with "No, feel free to drill your own hole and install one yourself" but it was when the static got so bad that who knows.

 

Not sure why people hate on the elocker. It works well and unlike the ARB if something does get stuck, motor breaks etc you can lock/ unlock with a screwdriver. Sure the carrier isn't as strong as ARB, but it's plenty strong for 99% of people

 

Nah car is just filthy with dust from the warmer months. Is pretty much negate extra time I could have previously committed to cleaning my vehicles

 

hopefully the 4runner bilsteins go on a big sale now like the taco ones, can put them on the wifes 4runner!

Question for you guys! I have been having issues keeping my wipers from freezing (even had one ruined this morning and had to replace it) and looked a little harder. Turns out my wipers sit BELOW the defrost line, and just sit there and accumulate ice. On my old truck, I accidentally pulled my whole wiper off and when reinstalling it, put it back on a little offset and it never went back down as low (I never tried to fix it either).

So can I alter how low the wipers sit on this truck too? I'd love for the wipers to sit about 1inch higher, it would remove all my problems.
