I am much better at TIG than MIG and I pure suck at stick and oxy. If I had the gear I would do a lot more, right now I am stuck going to my buddies to use his MIG and I have no access to a TIG. I would suggest looking for a good used rig or decent mid priced rig new. Going cheap sometimes doesn't help with enjoyment in learning. I was lucky and learned on some high end stuff and that makes it a lot easier with the control of the adjustments compared to the cheaper stuff.

For 3g you can get a really good everlast unit that will do tig (steel and alum.) mig and stick! I am less impressed with the blue and red machines these days and more impressed by the likes of Everlast, HTP, Esab, Ahp and others. You get a lot of good bang for the buck with those but they are towards the higher end as well. The times that I have use so of the Hobart stuff I was impressed especially with their TIG I used. For as cheap as Hobarts are they are pretty decent machines as entry level.

For $14 I'd expect to have a burger that wasn't burnt and pulled out of the trashcan. Even when my food wasn't garbage it wasn't ever worth $14.

    Everything is better with Booze

Any of the chain box food joints suck.
We went to Applebys Saturday night, yup still sucked. Only went because wife’s friend wanted to go there (I tried to resist).
I’ll take actual bar food anyday over that crap. It’s usually better and there isn’t an expectation that It might be above average for the price.

Spectrum(TWC so I don't expect less) is such bullshit.. Trying to setup new service, online gives a full layout of price, but says I need to call in. When I called in they added another 150$ in fees and activations.

Pitch a fit and move up the chain of command. I did and now I have a rep’s email. When I want to start or change service I email her and 24 hours later it’s installed.

Granted I’ve got several business accounts that I manage so they take me more seriously now haha.

I kept it mostly calm.. talked to 9 people before I got to Savannah.

She said they aren't charging those fees anymore and the other offices might not know that.... Well that's fucking nice... Why would your damn system still let them do it..

Then she tried to sell tv+phone +internet for $169.99... I told her we are already going to be paying more than we were for our current service.

She asked if there was anything else and I ask what number I should call to avoid talking to the other 9 people

Red, things I wanted to say but didn't

ATT has been a damn dream, best internet provider, sign up, customer service, experience I've ever had. Luckily I am only staying at this new place for a year so I don't have to worry about the "deals" ending and trying to reup them.

Tell them to go fuck themselves and that you're switching over to AT&T fiber. See if they don't change their tune.
