I'd like to get out for sure.
I really have to play it safe until I buy a house. Would hate to come up short on closing costs and ruin the whole plan.

So much $$ though. 9k....but figure another grand for the adapter to your transmission of choice, plus all the fitting for everything. Guy ive been watching doing a swap was up around 15k already for his and it wasn't done yet.

I am curious to see the next one they release though.

Well, despite thinking if keeping my truck... One of my father in laws coworkers has decided he loves it. Told him 17.5 when I come home on my mid tour and the guy didn't flinch. Just said "sounds good to me." Guess I'll be getting that tundra when I get back next January.

Yep, mine went up from $2900 last year to over $3800 this year in Lake Stevens. And we have a vote next week to tack more on for a new $17M library that will be a block away from my house in a new "city campus" where they also want to build a new city hall and police station, which I'm sure they will be asking for money to build soon :annoyed:

I'm in Clark county wa, and our place was $3800 last year. It has gone up $100 every year for the last 10 years.
The place I'm looking at in the next county over is $1700 a year.

And local school district levies on top of that too. I'm not in a hurry to buy a house in King county. They're asking for $50milion through 2022 outside of what the state provides. It used to be levies filled the gap, now it seems like they do it just to get the money with no accountability. For the average house value of $500k that would add almost $2500 in taxes annually to anyone within the Snoqualmie valley School district on top of the new property taxes. There are several others that are requesting $50million throughout the area also.16 to be exact.
    https://www.seattletimes.com/seattl...s-will-be-asked-to-fund-school-levy-measures/
Combine that with the ST3 RTA tax and this state is turning into a tax hell hole. I'm actually glad I don't own a house to be honest.

With this increase I will be pushing $7000 in property taxes.
