+1 for Freeman. I had a deposit for one incoming, but later found out they markup their lease MF by .001 and didnt want to negotiate. So i pulled out.

Antioch offers straight invoice pricing, but adds a marketing fee of 500 i think.
Costco was a big let down.
Roadster was my best price, so went with them.

Putnam and Capitol were the hardest to deal with.

i dont work for any dealership anymore. But your statement says you paid $30,000 for it. It being a maintenance plan? You're not clear with your statement while trying to push across the anger you hold because you were snookered.

I’m glad to hear Capital Toyota fired you, maybe they’re improving.

Stop being obtuse; my grammar isn’t that poor, and my insinuation that the services are a part of the cost of my truck isn’t hard to understand. The cost of service was clearly part of the purchase price of the truck and while that portion obviously isn’t a significant portion of 30K, it sure as shit wasn’t free as the service manager claimed.

So were you in sales or service?

Another here for Freeman. I talked to the fleet sales manager, Brita. I requested her to have most of the paperwork ready (i have two young boys) and she took care of me. In and out in about 30 minutes. At the time I think she was transitioning from internet sales.

Okay fella, you're right. How could I ever be so wrong?

I'm going to step away from the keyboard now and rethink my life; I sure am glad there are people on the internet who can help me see the err of my ways .

Anyone who read your post should be able to comprehend that you weren’t talking about a 30k maintenance plan.

I went to Freeman and got a quote for what I wanted. Then I went to my friends dealership in seaside and asked if they would price match. The did, and knocked a little more off and gave me a few other things at employee pricing as far as warranties and such.

However, if I didn’t have a buddy at a dealership I would of went with Freeman.

I shopped around the Bay Area and into the Central Valley. One dealer stood out as straight shooting, no games - Stevens Creek Toyota. I would highly recommend you talk to them if you haven't already.

Piercey toyota in milpitas. Talk to the internet managers. Don’t bother with the lot salesmen. They’ll tell you that the hood scoop is for sport mode and is functional and that the trd sport handles like a sports car. Morons.

Fremont toyota sales guys will tell you the same thing. One guy told me the hood scoop opens up at freeway speeds, as we looked at the sealed scoop from under the hood... these guys need to get fired.

Tried getting a truck from Putnam. MSRP - $500 is the best they will try. Don't waste your time with them.

Best place for the price is Freeman Toyota.

Merced Toyota matched Freeman Toyota's price which was approximately $3,000 off MSRP or exactly $1,000 under invoice. All it took was a phone call. Their e-price was $500 under invoice which also isn't bad but a phone call saved me another $500. My salesman, Dirk, was nice and everyone from finance to paperwork were all excellent and easy to deal with.

@PNUT HA! Made that mistake once. 5,000 miles I headed to Freeman for a quickie. Had an appointment and everything. 2.5 half hours later my oil was changed and tires rotated.

Hansel they shuttle you over to the diner for breakfast/lunch and shuttle you back 30 minutes later when your truck is done.

Another vote for Freeman from me!
Got off work at 6am on a Sat, drove about 3 hours north, signed the papers and drove back my shiny new 2017 quicksand TRD OF back home. Drove another 3 hours just to shower and head for another night of work. I live in Castroville and the dealers down here are just bad! The Salinas Toyota wouldn't go down below $37K on an exact same model I got but with 400 miles and some minor damage. They were trying to sell the truck with 400 miles and obvious minor wear and tear as new with a new truck sticker price....hahah no.
