Im not sure about MA in its entirety, but I grew up on the cape (Wellfleet) and spent most of my teenage years wheeling the powerlines along with fire-roads and dunes before we made the big move to NH. I recall quite a few times where my but puckered pretty good. Theres always a place you can get your truck dirty.

Well Western Mass is great. Im in that weird part of MA that borders the NH Seabrook area and everywhere around me is protected watched forest. I only know of a few NH places, all being 45mins to 3 hours away. I already talked to one of the EPA guys after he yelled at us (the general offroad population) for being darned kids and shit and cutting open the gates. I never knew they were ever closed they got cut open so often lmao. Technically it is a legal road though, the trails just border the crane neck reserve so RIP.

Deprived by “the man”. Most trails and class 6 shut down up here for snowmobile traffic. They reopen around the 15th of April for Trailbike and general offroad use. I have the list of roads for a few states from doing meet ups with some local orgs. I could probably put something together for a summer saturday for members that possess common sense.

(I say it this way because i have seen the old fashion college try by some newbs off road.)

There is only one class 6 i know of in Fremont NH that i go to year round. They are currently logging the area out pretty good sadly, but there are still some interesting trails there. I am down for some class 6 trail riding this summer. Just need to know the dates so i can get the day off from work.

That mud puddle looks familiar! Love the rock crawls up to the left and right sides of the trails out there. Can't wait to get out there again, but yah its basically just a place to go when bored hahah its about 35 mins from me. Let me know if you wanna get together and head out there, my buddy tows up another friends shitbox 96 XJ and we go and play around all day. Right off Shirkin Road right? I used to take the trails by my house to highschool hahah, i miss those days.

I've tried pretty hard to find a list of local class 6 roads, fire roads and the like but came up short. Do you have any advice for finding them? It would be nice to scratch the itch a bit.

Theres Exploring NH that has the New Hampshire almost at 100%. You have to do a couple meets and trail maintenance to be able to acquire it. My acquisition of the lists for VT, NH and ME came from some of the guys I race enduro with and agreed to pretty strict instructions when they handed it over. “Personal use only.” I’ll start putting a route together for the end of May.

Depending on when and where, I would be in. Running stock truck, no issues going off road, but it's still got to get me to work Monday kind of off road.

On another note, I would love to do some sort of non pavement run through Maine ending in the Moosehead area. Or even a nice long weekend up in the Moosehead area, lots of dirt to cruise around. Also a b-52 crash site, some old trains left in the woods and the golden road that I think goes to northern Maine.

Maine has some real great dirt road that tend to go on forever. All offroad will be somewhat stock friendly.

I think we can go from NH up through Maine if we start on the western side of Maine.

Sooo... I don't have the wheeling, but if we wanted a parking lot and a place we could grill out or whatever, I have that. About 25-30 minutes from both Pitts State Forest and That Rocky Ass Road up in Adams/Savoy. The only thing is that we are a wedding facility so we can't do it on a Saturday. There are a few long weekends this summer where we only have a one day event, and I could host this truck meet on a Sunday or Monday of those weekends. Labor Day and Columbus day are available for me to provide this. We are in Hancock, MA and people would be welcome to camp in our parking lot/field/woods areas for a night. We also have a kitchen that can feed about 200 if we have a cook in our group who really wants to go to town. I do have neighbors and we couldn't be blasting music all night and raging super loud for those who wanted to sleep over. But a nice campfire and some beers is fine. Cleared this with the wife and wanted to throw it out there.

I've been up there with my f-150, had a blast! Deff a good place to go.
