I have the short term, its a little recessed behind my skid plate. I bought the little hose that goes with it too. shoots the oil right into the catch. Highly recommend. Grab the little lock that goes over the release.

Nice looking truck. I love the Cement color. Just be careful on this forum because you will get the "mod virus" and there is no cure. The primary symptoms are a truck that keeps looking better and better and a wallet that is empty... :D

Tundra also got some nice looking wheels and LED headlights too!

Toyota is really going to have to up the ante for 2010 TRD Pro's if they want to remain relevant (at least with the Tacomas).

Although nothing is confirmed for the US market yet, Ford just announced some pictures and specs for the new Ranger Raptor which will be getting a much more substantial performance upgrade over the base Rangers...not just "slightly" better performance with lots of cosmetic upgrades that we see with the Tacoma.

Anyways, I digress because I have done nothing with my Taco today (wife has it). :pout:

They won't, and yet, they will still be very relevant. ZR2 didn't hurt them, Ranger Raptor won't hurt them. Toyota pays a lot of money for market research and analysis, they know what their doing and their history has NEVER upped the ante based on competition. Their foothold had and will remain on reliability and resale.

So, don't get your hopes up. 2020 pros will likely get a roof rack for the tacoma (anyone notice the "new" 4runner rack is the same as the FJ rack?) And perhaps someother cosmetic touch. A simple look into the history of toyota will prove my point.

Great communication and product appears very well put together. Very detailed instructions/videos and install seems very easy. I’m waiting on warm weather to install.

Not today, but two weeks ago I put a 2-1/2in lift and level kit on my truck. It took about 7hrs because we stopped to take pictures and document the install process. All said and done, I love it! Now to get tires...lol
First picture is my truck with the left on stock tires, but the 2nd pic is my truck next to a crazy truck at the local VA hangout!

All the news I hear about mid size trucks is always about the next big thing that's finally going to dethrone the taco. I don't pay much attention to sales figures outside of my own investments but can say I see tacos everywhere and the colo/canyons are a rarity.

People want the tacos long term reliability and AFTERMARKET support. The new Ranger might get a small displacment turbo engine and 3" coilovers but it won't be won't enough. Tacos already have just about every conceivable suspension upgrade and give it a couple years and you might see 5.7 yota or more likely 2.8 Cummins kits (Cummins investing allot in retrofitting and 3rd gens are selling like hot cakes so it wouldn't shock me.)

Taking down the Taco is on par with taking out the Wrangler. For the enthusiast there's too much aftermarket support, initial purchase price is too good and last but not least heritage. Heritage goes along way when you consider what a pile of garbage the JK is:luvya:
