ps. went with a Powertank 15 lbs with all the trimming for my Air use. Got one that was on clearance fr powertank for $400 and used MILITARY-10 as a discount code for 10% off. Total with shipping came to $420 because I upgraded a few items.

Well if an aftermarket snorkel is $500ish, then I'm sure Toyota will add $2500 onto the price of the Pro.

You know what's even more messed up though, is that when I took mine in to get worked on, they offered me $8k for it, and said that they would have offered me $10k if it weren't for the lift. They want to have their cake and eat it, too!

 

At Costco in Sterling - they have Mobil 1 in 0W-20, 5W-30, 5W-20 & 10W-30. $27.69 a case (6 quarts)

Took my 2003 in for a transmission flush at a buddy's shop. As I was paying I asked what they thought of the restoration on my truck.

"That's the second nicest 2003 I've seen."



Uh, how can that be? Apparently an elderly couple bought a 2003 Double Cab Pre Runner 2WD brand new from the Toyota dealership in Tysons in 2003. They brought it home, parked it in their garage and didn't touch it for 15 years. Truck had 9 miles on it. They paid $23K for it. My buddy's shop did all the checks on it, put in new oil (though the oil looked perfect) and went through a procedure to restart it. Everything worked perfectly. They said the truck is a time machine - looks / smells like a brand new truck. Only problem was there was some damage to the roof because some guy fixing the garage door opener dropped some stuff on it.

Koons Tysons offered to buy it from them for $11K. So generous! I gotta see if I can get some pics of it.

 

5w20, 5w30, 10w30, and 0w20 are available at chantilly costco. 27.69+tax.

 

Well fellas, looks like same old shit, different day on the hill. More shutdowns coming sounds like. If i have to postpone my dentist appointment again im gonna go apeshit on someone up there.
