I went to that dentist when I was in the Army. I asked for more Novocaine, he said he was almost done. Lying asshole!

Wow, glad I was in the Air Force. I still remember the last hygienist's boobs that kept hitting me in the head.

She always wondered why everyone ate Oreos before their semi-annual cleanings...

I use to schedule my dental appointments conveniently on hike days. They kept saying they would NJP us if we missed dental so I made sure to go.

It’s for air cooling the middle of the leafs. Friction heating is a legit thing :notsure:

This would be great source stock for Forged In Fire.

Maybe the smiths could make that into something actually useful and desirable.

Normally I'd argue with you, since that's a Chrysler 9.25 and it's from the squarebody era (when trucks were real trucks).
But, the reason I recognized it is because I broke a u-joint on my '84 last winter while I was plowing a heavy storm.

...because I had collapsed the spring perches and spun the axle

    Indeed.
In my truck's defense, it's 33 and they were mostly rust. The new ones that I welded on are much more robust.

The engine hoist came in handy for getting the axle out from under there, though
