    Apparently a lot more familiar with them than you are with other ways of smoking. You are too close to the coals. What your describing is grilling. I'm talking smoking directly over coals. I wouldn't have a stacker if I didn't need to raise meat even higher off the coals. And let the dripping fat do the smoking.

    Must have a magic BGE then. Even Eggheads will (normally) admit they can't do it, and joke the solution is purchase another BGE. Pretty well established that you can't do true 2 zone in a BGE. For one the ceramic on the lid spreads the heat across the surface heating up the other side. Not sure you even understand 2 zone cooking?

    There is a lot of difference. Perfect is subjective. You've never done it. So you don't know what you don't know.

    Yeah compared to here it is. I lived down there where you're at for a year. Not sure if I should insert bang head or ROFL.
