    Let me know how that coating withstands the elements if you don't mind. We talked to that company when we were out at sema as an alternative to powder coat. We've seen how poorly line X holds up and we love to offer another option to our customers.

    I got this done where I work. We have been using it on the front bumpers of our trucks for over a year with wonderful results. www.uosforestry.com So much we have been coating our rear ICC bumpers and cab guard protectors standard now. We have even done entire decking and undersides too. I have been mostly impressed with the ability to color match it, even in white. I'll send you some more info and pictures tomorrow to show you how it covers and tints.

    Looks like nice stuff, close to the Rhino Liner or Line-X texture. Is there a lot of prep work prior to application? I know with powder coat, we do sand blasting, then a primer, then powder to ensure the best coating you can get.

    We went away from mixing by the gallon quite a while back and now have an automated system that runs off two 55 gallon drums, it even has a heater system to heat it for faster drying. We don't sand, but we do have a phosphorus wash system and we do prime first with our standard PPG primer.

    Powder does ok. It scratches and and you touch it up. What happens with line x is it peels off in sheets. It is why we dont offer it. Thats what Im wondering, if scorpion does the same.

    Definitely the most legitimate question about it. I'm sorry to say I will not blatantly be the first tester but if the situation does arrive, and happen, I will share the results!
    I will say that there is a trail 2 miles from my house that dented my factory running boards on my 4buggy that I won't try again until these are installed so it may be sooner than later
