I would think the adhesive strips were more for paint protection. It keeps dirt(and water) from settling between, which will erode the paint over time.

I had the weathertech mud guards before adding the flares, and I lost some paint the very same way, due to torsion ... wind, who knows. Anyone reading this should definitely realize the value of 3m tape.

It's probably a good idea long term...it just isn't a big concern for me. I have a friend that owns a body shop and with how I roll through vehicles it will probably be long gone before any issues arise.

Another reason to like the “bulkiness” of the pro grille is that from the side profile, the grille sticks out just far enough to help balance the front bumper protrusion. It loses that underbite look of the front bumper sticking WAY out in front (X2 with the honking oem license plate bracket).

Looks good. This is with no lift just adding large tires, correct?

Correct! I am putting my King RR coilovers and shocks on Friday. Not lifting much at all. 2" max front...1" block in rear.

Would you share all the details on size of spacer lift, rim offset and size, and tire size.
This is the exactly the look im after.
The tires are flush with the fenders with no flares. Im just not a fan of fender flares.

To be honest, I am not sure on the wheels as they came with the truck. The spacer lift is 3 inches. 285/70r18 tires.

    Correction @Dave Mullins 285/65r18

I'll see if I can find a part number on them.

    That would be great.
Any issue with the spacer lift topping out.
I dont do any offroading anymore and cant see spending big money on lifts

Haven't taken it off road with the lift so I haven't topped it out. I will likely switch it out before I do. On the road it has been perfect though!
