Ok for all of those who are going, figured it would be cool if we all convoyed are way up there. So for me the whole trip takes about 1.5 hrs to get there from the house, figured Buccees would be the best location to meet up at. If everyone that wants to do this we can meet at Buccees by 0730, the reason for the change is that originally I was planning this based on when part of the ATX group was getting there but this has changed since that post. The thought now is leave by 0800 which then it is about another 20 min up the road. This will get us up there a little early, secure good spots and allows for a little extra sleep... @ChadsPride is helping with collections as a general part so that money can be provided to the family via David from STT and or to Jessica @GarageGirl18, this will need to be figured out during the morning of, @Texoma suggested that we provide a $5 donation to this which I see as reasonable. If anyone has any other suggestions please chime in as I am just feeding off the two groups and what ATX has mentioned.

Ok both the SA Tacomas and the South Texas Tacomas groups appear to be coming as well to honor LJ and have fun at this event in looking at the chats online. David from STT has gotten some stickers made that were part of the group and was I believe to be a motto for LJ. They have not mentioned if they are selling them or what the deal is but I am sure they will bring them along to the event. I am going to post the details about us driving up from Buccees so we may have a good group driving north.

So regarding earlier today, basically my truck is a sitting duck. I wanted them to just replace whatever components that'll make it driveable, which I suspected was a bent inner tie rod. However the frame is buckled in the front a bit, to what extent I don't know, dude seemed "too busy" to show me. Because the frame is compromised they won't touch it, I wish he would've told me that before I wasted my time (1 week) - but on the bright side I got the assessment done and can now get another opinion.

Guy said the collision center right next to it they usually take cases that have frames buckled. He kept telling me "it'll never be aligned perfectly" and I'm not about to shell out $6k for it so at this point I don't care. I just want it driveable, after that it can sit in my driveway all I want and worry about the body panels myself. So I talked to the lady at the other place and sent her the pics and the assessment and she told me she'll call me Monday when the boss is back in town. Trying to be optimistic. As stated the truck is just sitting there at that lot.

^ So realistically I can X out the grille, headlight, frame, front door (he listed it because of the paint, which has always been that way), and anything that has to do with splash shields and apron assembly.

Anything regarding suspension, radiator support, and possibly hood I will gladly pay for. I really question this dude because he didn't even list the inner tie rod and he listed the fender as without the flare when the other 3 panels clearly have them.
They're making it out to be worse than it appears honestly. Oh and plus I forgot they listed "front bumper replacement" as $750. HAHAH that's a $1k bumper and it was clearly fine.

Which gives me doubts on the frame if he doesn't know what the fuck he's looking at. #OptimisticAF
